Thank you for choosing Habit Forge. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy details how Habit Forge operates, highlighting that we do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal information.

Information Collection & Use

Habit Forge is designed as a completely offline productivity tool.

No Personal Data: We do not collect personal identifiers, such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or IP address.
No Habit Tracking Telemetry: All habits, logs, streaks, completed task histories, and custom categories are saved exclusively on your local device. There is no cloud storage, server-side database sync, or background upload.

Data Storage

The data you input in the app is saved using a lightweight, encrypted-in-transit local database technology (Hive) stored strictly inside the private application directory on your physical device.

Your data is deleted permanently and immediately when you uninstall the application from your device.
We have no way to retrieve, restore, or access your habit database if your phone is lost, damaged, or when you switch devices.

System Permissions

Habit Forge requests minimal device permissions to ensure smooth local operation:

Haptic/Vibration Feedback: Used to provide a tactile sensation when you mark a habit complete or interact with custom buttons.

Note: The production release of the application does not request internet permission, meaning it is physically incapable of transmitting data over the web.

Third-Party SDKs and Services

We do not integrate any analytics suites (such as Google Analytics or Firebase), tracking pixels, or advertisement networks (like AdMob) inside the application. As a result, no third party is capable of observing your usage habits.

Children's Privacy

Since Habit Forge does not collect any personal data, it is fully compliant with children's privacy protection guidelines (including COPPA). The application is safe for use by users of all ages, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to align with new offline features. Any updates will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Since the app is fully offline, we recommend reviewing this page periodically or inside the app's about section.
